On 27th August-2017, we got ready for adventure camp to Pavagadh. We sat in our University bus and set out for Pavagadh at 7:30am. Everyone was very excited and enjoying their travelling.
We reached the Adventure Empire Camp, Pavagadh at 9:00am, got freshened up, had breakfast and got ready for day activities. Before we proceed for the activities, Camp Trainer Shreyash Sir briefed us about agenda for the day.
Activities for the day are Rippling, Caving, Ladder Walk, Free fall and 4kms tracking. As per Shreyash Sir instructions we were accompanied by experienced staff members of Adventure Empire.
Rippling and Caving experience-Much of the learning was challenging but was done with good humor and support. This created something which we can all look at with a sense of pride. To start with, everyone was very scared but with the professional support and arrangement of the organizers the adventure ended quite smoothly without any casualty.
Tracking experience-We walked through the forest for 4kms post lunch, which was very tiring for most of the campers. Nevertheless, on reaching there the scenic beauty mesmerized one and all and they were re-energized by the shower of waterfalls.
At around 1 o’clock, all the campers converged to have their lunch at Pavagadh Fort. To our utter surprise, the food was awesome, which was unlikely for any camp trip. And finally having the supper at the same place at 6pm or thereabouts we were on our way to return journey.
All the activities strengthened students’ teamwork skills, bolstered their confidence and also developed their sense of self-esteem. Everyone was taking pictures and one great thing about picture taking was how it could bring all the people together. They wanted their pictures to be taken in small groups, which often mushroomed into larger group as soon as the camera was visible. Campers were putting arms around new friends, sitting closer to each other and laughing at almost everything.
Maybe we won’t remember the particulars of playing cricket or volleyball, but we will remember how great it felt to learn to play sports together. Camp felt like a new and exciting home to all the campers. On the whole, all the activities made an indelible impression on everybody’s mind and hopefully it will cling to our heart for rest of our lives. Godspeed.

See GalleryThis academic year the management of ITM Vocational University has introduced a tour, as a part of orientation programme, in order to create a sense of belongingness among the freshers. After a lot of deliberation we have chosen Adventure Empire at Pavagadh as the most suited site for adventure. As a matter of fact adventure calls for team work besides courage and resoluteness.
On 3rd September-2016, we got ready for adventure camp to Pavagadh. We sat in our University buses and set out for Pavagadh at 6am. Everyone was very excited and enjoying their travelling. They started playing games and chatting.
We reached the Adventure Empire Camp, Pavagadh at 8am and got freshened up and got ready for day activities. Before starting the activities, Camp teacher Shreyash Sir made 2 groups so that everyone could get the taste of all the activities and he briefed them about the day.
1 group was sent for tracking and another one for Rippling and Caving and experienced staff members of Adventure Empire were accompanying each group.
Tracking experience-We walked through the forest for 6kms, which was very tiring for most of the campers. Nevertheless, on reaching there the scenic beauty mesmerized one and all and they were reenergized by the shower of waterfalls.
Rippling and Caving-Much of the learning was challenging but was done with good humor and support. This created something which we can all look at with a sense of pride. To start with, everyone was very scared but with the professional support and arrangement of the organizers the adventure ended quite smoothly without any casualty.
At around 1 o’clock, all the campers converged to have their lunch at Hotel Heritage. To our utter surprise, the food was awesome, which was unlikely for any camp trip. In post-lunch session 2 groups exchanged their activities and finally having the supper at the same hotel at 6pm or thereabouts we were on our way to return journey.
Godspeed.
