In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted as under to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual harassment at work place.

Roles & Responsibilities
To receive any grievance/complaint from students/staff regarding sexual harassment.
To investigate the case based on the above-mentioned complaints relating to sexual harassment.
To conduct a systematic inquiry on receiving any complaints from aggrieved students/staff and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council advocated the establishment of Internal Quality assurance Cell (IQAC) by all the institutions. ITM Vocational University, Vadodara was established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as the quality sustenance activity. The IQAC plans, guides and monitors Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the University. The main task of the IQAC is to channelize the efforts and measures of the University towards maintaining academic excellence and robust internal governance.

To prohibiting, preventing and banning activities of Ragging Menace within and outside the campus in accordance with UGC Regulations, Supreme Court directives and state act, the committee is responsible for taking action against those found guilty of ragging and or abetting ragging, actively or passively or being part of a conspiracy to promote ragging. This committee will monitor the measures taken by the University for prevention of ragging, will investigate the specific instances of ragging and complaints of ragging; and suggest appropriate action / punishment against individuals who indulge in ragging. All the members are requested to take note of the same and co-operate in maintaining conducive academic atmosphere for our students both in college & hostel premises.
Anti-Ragging Squad

The squad shall investigate incidents of ragging, make recommendations to the Institution level Anti-ragging committee and shall work under the overall guidance of the Anti-ragging committee.
All members are requested to take note of the same and co-operate in maintaining conducive academic atmosphere for our students both in the University & hostel premises.

As per the UGC Regulations on Grievance Redressal- 2012, issued vide the Gazette of India on 23rd March 2013, ITM Vocational University has set up a Grievances Redressal Mechanism to address the Complaints/Grievances of students and staff in a speedy and judicious manner. Generally, it envisages the complaints regarding admissions, in regularities in established processes, Victimisation and/or harassment. Complaints of other nature which may effect the performance and general development of a student are also admitted for redressal.
Objective:
The objective of the Grievance Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
A Grievance Cell should be constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the University with the following objectives:
Upholding the dignity of the University by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the University through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-Teacher relationship etc.
Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the Students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.
Scope:
The cell will deal with Grievances received in writing from the students about any of the following matters:-
Academic Matters: Related to timely issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
Financial Matters: Related to dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
Other Matters: Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, preparation of food, availability of transport, victimization by teachers etc.
Functions:
The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students.
The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the Management policy.
The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities..
Procedure for lodging complaint:
The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing drop it in suggestion boxes.
The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in stipulated time limit provided by the Cell.
