Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) is two year course. The course makes aspirants familiar with the ways through which they can take care of the health related problems of sick, injured, recovering mothers, new-born mentally challenged and old people. The course also provide knowledge regarding setting up the equipments of an operation theater, providing medication, maintaining health records of patients and other routine jobs.
Objectives:
provide an opportunity to a large segment of in-service nurse to upgrade their knowledge and skills in order to respond to the changing health needs of the society

Durations: 2 years course
Educational Qualification:
Should have passed the XII standard/equivalent examination, in all the subjects in any stream. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally. The candidates finally selected for the course will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying exam with requisite subjects & marks before joining the course.
Career Opportunity:
After completion of the course student can work at PHC level and hospital. They can also aspire to be getting employed in industrial houses and factories.
Transfers for both ANM & GNM Program
ITM Group has transfer agreement with RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Ras Al Khaima, UAE, by which the ANM graduates and GNM students after 2nd year can transfer to RAKMHSU and graduate as Registered Nurses with a Bachelor’s degree. They can further transfer from RAKMHSU to UK and other countries easily.
